For Sale: Great Old Ship Life Preserver! - $100

This is a great old nautical collectible! It is approx 28" outside diameter and would make a great decor/conversation piece. It has a wonderful patina and only 1 bad place, on the back side and is about the size of a quarter. It has a silver tag (pictured) with some sort of writing which I assume is Japanese, but that's only a guess and will gladly accept any corrections to my assumption. For Sale: E.H Burger Framed Prints of LaFayette, GA. Signed & Numbered - $20

These prints commemorate the Sesquicentennial of LaFayette, Ga and were created in 1985. They are numbered, and signed by famed artist, E.H Burger. The "Fort Cummings" is a drawing of the fort that stood at the spring now occupied by LaFayette Waterworks. It was a staging area for the Trail of Tears, where the Cherokees in this area were held until the forced relocation. The "Pigeon Mountain" is a nice drawing of a steam engine on the old train system in the Cove area. The "Rhyne Road" is interesting because it's viewable from the Tradin' Post parking lot today! The "Confederate Square" speaks for itself. These prints are $20.00 each, and can be seen @ The Tradin' Post at 904 North Main St in LaFayette, GA.
